Já arrancaram, no centro de Nairobi, Quénia, os trabalhos de execução das fundações daquele que será o mais alto edifício do continente africano. A mais alta das Torres Hass terá 67 pisos e 300 metros de altura, batendo em quase 80 metros o atual recordista, o Centro Carlton em Joanesburgo, África do Sul, com 223 metros de altura. O desenvolvimento do projeto está a cargo do Grupo Meinhardt e da China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC), uma das maiores empresas de Engenharia Civil e construção do mundo.
